Why operators choose us

Built around how taxi businesses make money

Drivers keep earning

Maintenance, breakdown cover and replacement vehicles mean a fault costs a driver hours, not days off the road.

Cleaner fleet, fewer restrictions

Zero-emission vehicles that help you meet clean air zone rules and your licensing authority’s emissions policies.

No capital tied up

Put drivers in electric vehicles without buying them, and without carrying the risk of what they will be worth later.

Maintenance handled

Servicing, tyres and repairs through our national service network, managed by us, so you run a taxi business, not a workshop.

Charging sorted

A charging plan for your drivers: home charging, depot charging installed at your base, or access to public charging.

Scale with demand

Add vehicles as you take on drivers or contracts, and hand them back when you no longer need them.

FAQ

Questions operators and drivers ask

Are the vehicles licensed as taxis or private hire vehicles?

Taxi and private hire vehicles must be licensed by your local licensing authority, and each authority sets its own vehicle conditions. We work through your authority’s requirements with you before supply so the vehicles you hire can be licensed for your area.

What about insurance?

Vehicles used to carry paying passengers must be insured for hire and reward. We will talk through how cover is arranged as part of your quote, and vehicles should not be used for work until that cover is confirmed.

What happens if a vehicle breaks down mid-shift?

Breakdown cover and roadside assistance are included, and a replacement vehicle is arranged when one will be off the road, so the driver can get back to work.

How do drivers charge?

It depends on your drivers. Some charge at home, operators with a base can have depot charging installed, and others use public charging. We agree a charging plan with you before vehicles are delivered.

Can we start with a few vehicles?

Yes. Many operators start with a small number of electric vehicles on weekly or monthly hire, see how they perform on real shifts, then add more.
